Springerdoodle

The Springerdoodle is a designer dog breed (also known as hybrid dog breed). The breed is a cross between the English Springer Spaniel and the Poodle. Over the years the purchase of Springerdoodle puppies have grown in popularity due to their compatibility with other pets and their love for children. They make fabulous family pets.

Colors

Springeroodles are bred in a variety of colors: black and white, liver and white, tri-color, brown and white, chocolate and white and the standard solid colors of a poodle, which are black, apricot, white, cream and gold.

Size

Springerdoodles are smaller than goldendoodles (Golden Retriever/Poddle mix). The height of dog depends on the height of the poodle parent (standard poodle or mini poodle). The average height of a Springerdoodle is 20-24 inches. Weight is 30 to 45 pounds at maturity.

Qualities

Most springerdoodles have a non-shed coat and is non-allergenic. Their coat is amazingly soft and is low maintenance. Many people who suffer from allergies to dogs, are happy to learn that they are not allergic to Springerdoodles. They are a very sweet natured, gentle and lovable breed.

Springerdoodles are extremely intelligent and highly trainable. It is important for the dogs to get a lot of outdoor exercise. They have a natural love for water sports.

Springerdoodle puppies are bred in a variety of colors; chocolate, cream and part-colored.

They are very mellow, rarely bark and very undemanding.

Grown to adult size, the springerdoodle is a medium size dog.
